I finally drew my character for something more than just a referance sheet! Sad thing is I drew the basic lineart in Janurary 2006, and only just coloured it! I painted it with Twinkling H20's, so it has a sparkle to it.

Oh, wow! I love her dress SO much! I didn't even notice the hooves until I actually paid close attention to the bottom of the skirt. Wonderful job!

If I'm being mean, it's because you're being stupid.
her dress in wonderful such bright colours to go with her warm skin. it took me a while to notice she had hooves. i love your originality

Faces seem to be a bit of a problem for you. For this one in particular, the first thing I'd recommend is to have the lips a bit higher up the face - as I understand it, nose tip to mouth centre : mouth centre to chin tip should be 1 : 2. You're more like 1 : 1 here. It's a pity, because the rest of the face is okay.

Everything else is pretty much fine. Nice job on the dress :)

Around 300 deviations over 9 or more sections. I like to keep myself busy.

The hooves were added in when I designed her to make her a bit different. Since then I have hated them every time I drew her because I suck at hooves even more than hands! People seem to like them though, as they've stayed.
Thanks for the comment.
Good details in the skirt, and the scarf around her waist. The face is too angular for me, I like faces to have softer curves, and some problems with the proportions in the arms and hands. Cute little elf ears!

I was most proud of the skirt, so I'm glad you like it. I was trying out a new body shape for me, which was a lot more lean. The arms got to me, because I inked them and then decided I hated the way they looked but couldn't change them. Always good to get feedback from you.
